SmartDuke is priced per gym, not per user. Starter is ₹1,999 a month for up to 3 team members and one location. Growth is ₹3,999 for up to 10 team members and two branches, and adds Duke on duty, who answers members on WhatsApp by himself. Pro is ₹7,999 for up to 25 team members and unlimited branches. Can it send renewal reminders on WhatsApp?
Yes. SmartDuke works out which memberships end this week, which have lapsed and which renew next month. Duke drafts a reminder for each member from your approved WhatsApp template, and nothing goes out until you approve it. You can also set an automation to send the reminder a few days before a plan ends. WhatsApp runs on your gym's own number through Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta charges separately for template conversations.

Can members check in by scanning a QR code at the door?
Yes. Members scan the QR code at your door to check in, or the front desk searches a name and taps Check in. The desk sees straight away if a membership has ended or ends this week. Every visit is kept, so you can ask Duke who hasn't come in for 14 days and win them back before they stop paying.

Does it handle trainers, classes and more than one branch?
Each trainer has their own working hours, so personal training sessions and free trials book into real free times. Group classes have places and a waiting list. With branches, say Indiranagar and Whitefield, each branch keeps its own schedule, hours and stock, and you can give a front-desk person or trainer a role for one branch only. Members belong to the whole gym, so their records follow them between branches.
How do members pay fees, and is GST shown on invoices?
Fees go on invoices and receipts, with part payments when a member pays in instalments, and an overdue list for follow-up. Your plans and services carry a tax rate, so GST is added to invoices as a tax line. Connect your gym's own payment account and invoices get a pay link, so members can pay by UPI or card and the money goes straight to you.

Common questions
Is SmartDuke made for gyms in India?
Yes. Prices are in rupees with 18% GST, invoices add GST as a tax line, members pay by UPI or card through your own payment account, and WhatsApp runs on your own number. SmartDuke Technologies is based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and has been building software since 2013. The Bengaluru demo gym shows it working with Indian data.
Does Duke answer member enquiries on WhatsApp by himself?
On Growth and Pro, yes. Duke on duty answers WhatsApp enquiries under rules you switch on: answer questions, save the person's details, book a free trial, reply or hand over to your team. On Starter, Duke drafts replies and reminders for you to approve. Money, cancellations and bulk messages always need a person in every plan.
Do members get their own app?
Yes. Members open your gym's address on their phone and sign in with a code sent to their email. They see their membership, their visits and the class timetable, and can book classes. It installs like an app and shows your gym's name, logo and colours, not ours. There is nothing to download from an app store.
Can I bring my existing member list from Excel?
Yes. Save your sheet as a CSV and import it: match your columns to SmartDuke's fields, preview the rows, then import. Members, phone numbers and other details come across in one go. Imports never start automations, so nobody gets a surprise WhatsApp message while you are moving your data in.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It stays yours. The owner can download all of the gym's data at any time as one ZIP file, without asking us. Every change is kept in an audit log, team members get roles with only the access they need, and you can require two-factor sign-in for the whole team.
How long does it take to set up?
Most of the setup happens in one conversation. Tell Duke about your gym, your plans and your trainers, and he builds a free draft of your app with memberships, classes and roles ready. Look around, change what you like, and publish when you're happy. Unpublished drafts are deleted after 30 days.
