Message templates keep your best wording for email and WhatsApp. Placeholders like {{first_name}} fill themselves, WhatsApp templates go to Meta for approval from the same screen, and a message never goes out with a gap.
Duke in Templates
Tell Duke what a message is for and he drafts the template with the right placeholders. Your approved templates are also the only words an agent may send without asking.
Who decides
Duke picks the placeholders, the channel and the category, and saves it once you approve.
Ask Duke to fill a template for a customer. If a detail is missing, he asks for it instead of sending a gap.
With standing approval, an agent sends only messages that are entirely your templates, with names and your brand filled in by the app. Anything Duke writes waits.

Placeholders
Standard placeholders come from the customer, your brand and the person sending. Anything else, like a date or an amount, is supplied when the message is sent, for example by an automation.
Placeholders · Renewal reminder
No gaps
Before anything is sent, the template is filled in and checked. If a placeholder has no value, the message isn't sent and you see which detail is missing. Customers never get “Hi ,”.
Check before sending
Email and WhatsApp
An email template has a subject and body. A WhatsApp template has a category (utility or marketing) and a language, and you submit it to Meta for review from the same screen, then follow its status.
With Duke: describe a template and he writes it, then submits WhatsApp ones to Meta once you approve.
| Name | Channel | Category | Status |

| class_reminder | Utility | Approved | |
| spring_offer | Marketing | Pending | |
