Your data is yours

You can download everything in your business at any time as one ZIP file: Settings → Security and data → Export your data → Export all data. It's ready in the background and we email you when it is. See Data export.

When a customer asks you to delete their data

Open them in Contacts, go to Details and click Erase data. Their personal details, notes, tasks, custom fields and message contents are erased, including in the history. Visits, memberships and payments stay as anonymous records so your figures still add up. This can't be undone. See Erasing a person.

When a customer asks what you hold about them

Open their contact: their details, messages, invoices, memberships, bookings, notes and timeline are all on one page.

Who changed what

The audit log keeps field-by-field history of every change, including changes Duke made and who approved them. Nobody can edit or delete it.

Who sees what

Each person sees only what their role allows, and Duke follows the same rules. Your business's data is kept separate from every other business's, and Duke never sees another business's data.

Messages and AI

• Your conversations with Duke are private to you.
• If you add your own AI key, Duke's requests use your own account with that AI provider. See AI credits and your own key.
