I can't sign in
Forgotten passwords, lost phones, “Too many attempts” and other sign-in problems.
On this page
“Invalid email or password.”
Check the email address and password. Forgotten your password? Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page. After 5 wrong passwords an account is locked for 15 minutes, and you'll see the same message until then.
The reset email didn't arrive
Check your spam folder, then ask again. The link works for one hour and only once. For security, the page gives the same answer whether or not the address has an account, so check you typed your work email.
“Too many attempts. Try again in a few minutes.”
Too many tries came from your connection. Wait the time shown and try again.
Lost your phone (two-factor)
Enter one of your recovery codes instead of the app's code. No recovery codes? Ask someone who manages your team to click Reset 2FA next to your name in Settings → Team and roles. Then sign in with your password and set up your app again. See Two-factor sign-in.
“That code isn't right.”
Authenticator codes change every 30 seconds. Use the newest one, and check that your phone sets its clock automatically.
“You don't have access to that organization.”
Your account isn't a member of the business whose address you opened, or your access was turned off. Ask its owner to invite you or reactivate you.
Customers can't sign in to the customer app
Customers sign in with a 6-digit code sent to the email address on their contact. Check their email is correct. See Customer app.
Your business is closed or read-only
If your business was closed, nobody can sign in until SmartDuke reopens it. If it's read-only because of an unpaid invoice, you can still sign in. See Billing.
Ask Duke inside the app, or write to us and a person will help.
