Goals: give Duke a number and a date
Set a target (new leads, bookings, memberships, payments…), let Duke make a plan of jobs, and follow how it's going every day.
About this app: Goals on the SmartDuke site
On this page
Give Duke a target, like “30 renewals by the end of the month”. He makes a plan, works on it every day and tells you honestly how it's going.

Set a goal
- Open Goals (on Duke's work) and click Set your first goal (or Set a goal).
- What do you want to grow? Pick a suggestion for your type of business, or Something else to see everything Duke can measure: new contacts, new leads, leads won, appointments booked, memberships sold, check-ins, payments collected, or records added on one of your pages.
- How many, and by when? Choose the period (By the end of this month, Next 30 days, This quarter or Pick dates) and the number. Duke shows last month's figure and how hard the target is (Easy, Stretch or Ambitious), and about how many a day it means.
- How should Duke work on it?
- Routine on its own (recommended): messages made entirely from your own templates, like trial reminders, go out without asking each time, up to 50 per run. Anything else waits for you.
- Ask me every time: best while you get to know Duke.
- Click Make Duke's plan. Duke proposes 2 to 5 jobs that run by themselves. Untick any you don't want and click Start working.
Each job you keep becomes an AI agent linked to the goal.
Follow a goal
Open the goal to see its progress against the pace needed, day by day, and its status: Just started, On track, Ahead or Behind. Home shows your goals every morning.
Each day at 7 am Duke measures the goal. When it's behind, he suggests an idea to catch up (at most every 3 days). When you reach the target it's Achieved; at the end date it's achieved or Missed, its jobs pause and you're told.
Change a goal
- Switch between Routine (templates) and Ask me every time.
- Pause and Resume.
- Stop goal pauses its jobs and removes it from your goals.
- Ask Duke for a plan again, or tick extra steps and Add the ticked steps.
Ask Duke inside the app, or write to us and a person will help.
