Duke, the AI teammate, works inside every app.Duke says the AI credits are used up
Why Duke stops working when this month's AI credits run out, and the ways to keep him going.
When your plan's AI credits for the month are used up, Duke shows:
Until then, Duke can't answer questions, write drafts or work on duty. Everything else in SmartDuke keeps working, and automations without AI steps carry on.
What you can do
- Wait for the reset. Credits renew every month. The AI credits box at the bottom of the menu shows the date they reset.
- Upgrade your plan for more monthly credits. Owners can do this in Settings → Plan and billing. See Billing and your plan.
- Add your own AI key. Owners can add their own OpenAI or Anthropic key in Settings → AI. Calls on your own key don't use credits. See AI credits and your own key.
