Your website: pages, shop, booking and publishing

Every business gets a public website built from blocks and filled from your app: prices, classes, products and listings stay up to date. Edit a draft, then publish.

On this page

Every business gets a public website at its own address (yourname.smartduke.app, or your own domain). You build it from blocks, and blocks marked live fill themselves from your app, so prices, classes, products and listings are always current. Enquiries, bookings and orders land in your app.

Open the editor

Open Website in the menu. You'll see the list of blocks on the left, a live preview in the middle (switch between Desktop and Phone) and the selected block's settings on the right.

The tabs on the left are Blocks, Pages, Theme and Settings. Every change is saved to your draft straight away; visitors don't see it until you publish.

Start from a template

Under Theme → Templates, choose a free template (Calm, Bold, Classic or Fresh). It changes your home page's layout and look in the draft. Your words, photos, address and hours stay, and your brand colour from Settings → Brand is kept.

Add and arrange blocks

  1. Click Add a block and choose one:
    • Hero: a big photo, heading and buttons.
    • Text: your story, policies, anything.
    • Gallery: photos in a grid.
    • Prices (live): from your membership plans and services.
    • Classes (live): coming classes and places left.
    • Shop (live): products, photos and stock.
    • Listings (live): the records of one of your own pages, like properties or courses.
    • Team, Reviews and Questions: content you write.
    • Visit and contact (live): your address, hours and a form that goes to your CRM.
    • Call to action: one line and a button.
  2. Click a block in the preview or the list to change it. Use the arrows to move it, or Duplicate, Hide block and Remove.

Blocks for apps you don't use aren't offered.

Pages

Under Pages, add a page (About us, Offers…), set its menu label, its Description on Google and its sharing image, and use the arrows to set the order of your site's menu. Tick Hide this page to keep a page out of the published site.

Booking and the shop

Under Settings:

  • Booking classes: visitors who aren't members yet can book a class. Set the price of one class for visitors, and tick Ask them to pay online when they book to take payment. Off: they book for free and pay when they arrive. Members book in the customer app.
  • Shop orders: a Delivery charge per order (leave it empty for free delivery). Customers can always pick up their order from you.
  • Emails to customers: booking, payment and order emails go out in your business's name, and replies come to you. Switch any off, or choose your own wording.

Paying online needs online payments. Without it, booking is free and products show “Ask about this”. A booking or order that isn't paid within 15 minutes is cancelled, and its place or stock is freed.

Publish

  1. Check the preview.
  2. Click Publish. Visitors see it at once, at your web address.

The badge shows Published, Changes not published or Draft, not published. View site opens the live site. A business that hasn't published yet shows a branded “coming soon” page with sign-in for members and staff.

Ask Duke

Duke can add pages and blocks, write copy and change the theme, for example “Add an Offers page to my website with a banner, our current offers and a booking button.” He shows you the change first, and publishing always needs your approval.

Good to know

  • Your website's address is your business's address: `/` is your website, and your team's app is at `/app`. Sign-in is at `/login` and the member area at `/member`.
  • Who can edit the draft and who can publish depends on their role.
  • Product details show on the shop only for fields you mark Show on your website.
Still stuck?

Ask Duke inside the app, or write to us and a person will help.
